libglib2.0-cil-dev software package provides CLI binding for the GLib utility library 2.12, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-cil-dev
libglib2.0-cil-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libglib2.0-cil-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libglib2.0-cil-dev *
You will get with libglib2.0-cil-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
